Man, aside from Buffalo and Carolina, everyone in the east is continuing their losing ways: Ottawa lost, New York lost, Philly lost, the Islanders lost. Way to go Carolina!!

The East is staying interesting for sure. The top six seeds may be separated by 6 points at seasons end.

I think the Rangers looked up at the out of town scoreboard and figured that since the other teams lost, they dont have to win either.

I dont mind that they lost to chicago, but the least they coulda done is pretend they were trying.

It's like the teams in the East are trying to avoid the play-offs or something, whilst the Western teams are clawwing at each other for that 8th playoff spot like it was the last dingy on a sinking ship.

I know. It's amazing that everyone seems to be losing right now. Someone besides the Wings has got to be winning out there!! We'll see who's gonna step it up, they're running out of time, but they're all helping each other by losing.

Two big games in the East today NYR vs Pit and Habs vs Leafs.
The teams at the bottom of the West are keeping it interesting also with the Stars losing to the Wild and Oilers losing to the Panthers, neither of those teams can afford to let easy games like those get away.
