The canes extended their winning streak to 4 in a row, defeating the Penguins 3-1. At 39, Ron Francis is still bad-a$$ed. He scored twice last night. The penguins were showing Francis highlights from the 1992 cup, and Francis was featured on many of them, the newspaper said. Then he went out and added some more highlights to his reel.
The Canes come home tonight and face the Caps. We have a 10 point lead, but we need to extend it to 12.

Some good work going on in the east. It's nice to hear of a team in the East playing well. It seems like everyone's playing sh!tty over there right now.

With a win tonight against the Caps the finish line will be in sight and maybe the 2nd seed if everyone else keeps faltering.

Not to be a nay-sayer, but aren't the Caps one of the couple teams in the east still winning?

The Craps are 2-2 in their last 4, wins over Ott & Cal, l's to Tor & SJ. We played last night and they didn't, we have been on the road since the Olympics ended. We're coming home to a sold out arena, not bad considering this is the heart of ACC b-ball country and their tournament starts today. These 2 teams don't like each other, tonight should be a war.

Most of our games are on Fox Sports South and the Caps on Fox Comcast but there is no tv or radio for tonights game. B-ball will dominate the tube for the next month. We only have 7 televised games left unless the Deuce picks one up, 5 are road games so that's nice for us atleast.
