The Coyotes have extended Bob Francis' contract through the 2002-2003 season. He's had two 90-point seasons in a row with the Coyotes.

Well at least Sergei Berezin (master of the 1 on 4 offense) will have someone to pass him the puck.

This is a rebuilding year for the Coyotes but hopefully they remain competitive in the dominant West, even if they're unlikely to make the playoffs.
