As of now, I say yes. But Modano has scored more of his teams goals percentage wise then anyone else has for their team, so maybe he should be given some consideration?

That's a good one. I wouldn't mind seeing him get it. There are a couple guys that could catch him though, including Shanahan and Sundin. Considering the team he's on and what he's done for them, I say hell yeah.

I doubt he will win it although he probably deserves it being the best scorer in the game IMO. The MVP generally goes to a player on a championship or close to team.

Yeah, it's definitely a one man show in Calgary. By the way, how much longer is his contract good for? I'll be anxious to see where he winds up, since Calgary probably won't be able to afford him.
