Cane Says

That's absolutely horrible.
From aa news story --- Art Jackson, 78, of nearby Richmond Hill, Ont., was representing his uncle, the late Harvey (Busher) Jackson of 1930s fame, in introductions of the 25 greatest players in club history. When Jackson was introduced, he collapsed. He never made it off the players' bench alive.
Doctors scurried to the bench, and club physician Dr. Michael Clarfield began cardiac pulmonary resuscitation attempts - two hands on the chest, pumping at brief intervals. The celebrities left the ice and players went to their dressing rooms. The lights came back on, and Clarfield kept trying. Spectators clued in on what was happening. An eerie silence fell upon the crowd. Clarfield kept at it for 15 minutes. Jackson did not respond.
"It was quite surreal," a shaken Clarfield said afterwards.
