there were more trade talks in the news paper today about the Canes trading Shane Willis to Tampa Bay for their Goalie Weekes.

They have also inquired about the availability of Hackett from MTL. The Canes don't seem to satisfied with their current goalie situation. IMO we have much more pressing needs like defensive help or a physical left winger.

Shane Willis is young with a low salary. He scored 20 goals in his rookie season last year. Low priced offense is what the Lightning need.

Goalie Weeks stock must be dropping. You wouldn't have gotten him for that when he got there.

I guess TB feels that with the Bollin wall there any backup goalie will do.
