For you anyone who is living in or near Toronto I was just wondering what your opinion of it was...It looks like a really beautiful city with alot of fun things to do...Not that it is THAT high on my list, but do they have cable internet?? :) I just MIGHT be moving north of the border sometime in the next few years and have always wondered what it was like there, I've never even visited yet!...And suddenly it occurred to me hey there are guys on chasingstanley.com that I believe live there!!! :) Another city I DREAM of visiting is Vancouver!!!...If it is as nice to live there as it looks in pictures and on TV that would be one of my top dream locations to live...Anyways, please give me some opinions if ya got 'em!!...

Honestly, I could write an essay on this, but since its 1 30 am, I will just say this for now, it is a great city, very clean and a low crime rate for a huge city. Great sports base and BEAUTIFUL women. I live in a suburb called North York which is 5 minutes north of Toronto. If you are ever in town let me know!
If you have specific questions please feel free to ask!

I was there when I was around 14 or so. I dont remember much, But I really liked it. It definitly was a nice clean place. And they have these cool chairs that fold down along the sidewalk(I was impressed by that for some reason):D
I have also been wanting to go to Vancouver, but that is a rediculous amount of miles away.

T.O. (Toronto, Ontario) is a great international city. I like to think of it as Canada's smaller, cleaner and safer version of NYC. You have communities from all around the world that reside there, which gives the city a diverse culture and a great selection of restaurants and markets.
BTW The Hockey Hall of Fame is worth the trek all on it owns, IMHO.

I've been there as a small kid and I know my parents love it there too. I've family in Kingsville, they rave about Toronto. It's a big arts city too, including broadway plays and operas. I would like to plan a summer trip there and see the hall of fame.
I would love to go to Vancouver. They say it's like one of the top three cities in the world for cuisine. They're said to have some of the best seafood out of the Pacific Ocean. From what I've seen, this would be an awesome place. On the food networks they're always doing shows there. I'd love to get there!!

Well thanks guys!!...I did a bunch of research on some of the cities I would consider moving to and what you guys have said about Toronto and Vancouver is exactly what I've read and feel...In fact my own opinion of Toronto after reading up on it is that is like Canada's version of NYC but even my grandmother said it was clean and nice to visit...I heard the same thing about the cultural diversity too and how it is very much into the arts...Alot of good points to that city that make it very attractive if I elect to move...Toronto is my favorite choice if I move to Canada and want to stay on the east coast...If I ever have the money to choose the west coast of Canada there's not a choice to be made, it's Vancouver or nothing!! :) Between the weather, the ocean, and the scenery that place has got to be heaven!!...I've had family go there and they all loved it...My grandmother talked of how she only had to wear a light sweater in the middle of winter while we were freezing over here in New York! :) Well if you guys have any more info PLEASE send it on over, I wanna hear every good and bad point of these two cities...I would have made a thread on Vancouver but I figured we don't have anyone from there on the board yet...Thanks again guys!!...
:)
