The Insider says they're the team to watch in the East. That all their injured players on about to come back and they'll be making a strong push at the end. Anyone agree or disagree?

The caps always make a strong push in the southeast. that's what we Canes' fans have been telling y'all for months. I don't think they will make a huge threat for many easten teams, such as the Flyers, devils or leafs, but if everything starts to click for them, they could find themselves at the top of the southeast and in the playoffs. -- God forbid

There is no doubt that on paper the Caps are a stronger team than the Canes. The fact that they have 2 games in hand on the Canes is what worries me. The game next Friday between the two teams will be huge, a Canes win could be the first nail in the coffin.

Aren't those games at hand a *****!! Every friggin year St. Louis has games at hand on the Wings. The way they're going this year hopefully, it won't matter though.
