A lot of people feel as though Glen Sather is going to try and aquire both Selanne, and Pavel Bure at the trade deadline. Now who the hell are the Rangers going to give up to get those two?
Im sure they would have a big impact on the team, but they are not my kind of players.
Oh well, guess ill just sit back and see what happens.

Not only that, but why would you want to pick up two Non-North Americans for the Playoffs;)
That is of course a stereotypical statement. Those two together would certainly increase the offence on a team.

I just heard that rumour on the radio as well. This will certainly be an interesting trade period

I question the effectiveness of aquiring these two. Yeah, they have great numbers but lets face it. How many great players have gone to the "graveyard" in NY? Too much talent can definitely be a bad thing. They already have a ton of talent, and I think part of the problem is that they can't control all those personalities in the locker room.
I'm not a huge fan of Bowman's ways sometimes, but I'll give the guy credit. He can add superstars and keep everyone pretty happy. Maybe with the exception of Federov. I just heard that Federov's agent says he's not happy and is requesting a trade. I don't know how true that is, but I wouldn't doubt it at all.
Hey Carolina, maybe now's your chance to get this guy! I like him as of late. He has never amounted to the player he SHOULD be though. If he does go, the price will be high.

I doubt the Canes would be willing to pay his huge salary. I feel that when they went after him a few years ago that was just a marketing ploy because they new the Wings would match their offer.

I agree. I think it was a pissing contest win by Karmanos!! They really screwed the wings with the incentives in that contract. That's okay, just more money the Tigers wont see!!

Hey! The Tigers need all the money they can get. Really, if Illitch doesn't want to spend money on them, he should sell them to someone who will.
I really want to see the Tigers winning again.

I agree. Unfortunately, sometimes I think we'll be dead before they start winning again. I can't understand how hockey is so important to him that he gives them a chance every year. Then he goes and builds the Tigers a stadium, a big chunk of it his own money and lets them rot. Hell, he should have left them at Tiger Stadium and spent the money on a team. The wings could use a new facility that seats about 80,000. Hmm, where could we find a local arena that seats 80,000 people and isn't in use. Hmmm.

There are no better tickets than free tickets

Especially when you look at the ticket, and it says $153 on it.

They are free thanks to the organization that I work for!

$153 gets you some nice seats, but the real seats are in the penalty box! The penalty boxes were so big that they put a devider, and some fold out chairs in one half. I think Gretzkys wife got hit wit some glass when the glass broke a couple years ago in those seats. Anyway I think they go for around 300 bucks or more, and they are next to impossible to get.

All I know is that I've been on the season ticket waiting list since 1995 for the Redwings!! I called a couple seasons ago to check the status and they were calling people from 1991 at that time. If I remember correctly, there was a 7 year wait. And remember, it's not like you're gonna get center ice lower bowl when they do call you. I'll be expecting a call in the next couple years anyway!! I'm pumped!!!

In Toronto the only way to get season tickets for the TML is through inheritance!
My dad used to get free Blue Jays tickets (back when they were winning everything), and, when I worked at Canada's Wonderland, he also struck a deal with a guy, who got free Leafs tickets, for my free Wonderland ones. Good times!
