To go into NJ and shut them out, I predict the Flyers will make it to the conference finals!

I can see this happening as well as they keep getting good goal tending in Net.

They do look good. They've added a couple IMPACT players this year and it looks like it's paying dividends! Those olympians really got it going in Utah!!

I'll go a step further and say that we will get the Stanley Cup finals match that everyone predicted of Wings vs. Flyers.

Relax guys, no chance. They're a little more of a finese team now than in years past but I don't think anyone can hang with Detroit when it comes to moving the puck. The Wings will kill anyone with that powerplay and their speed would create penalties. There are still a lot of teams in the east that could get that spot. The west seems all but locked up. As long as the Wings don't get that 2-0 series lead that they've blown the last two years, they'll get there as promised.
By the way, I hate the flyers too. Accept for LeClair anyway. I also have a new found respect for J.R. after the olympics. He's always been a player with a lot of heart. Fluery should model his game after him.

Well fellas I posted my thoughts on the game over in the Devils section...All I know is that I just wanted to kick my TV set over after watching the Devs get shut down in their own house!...*LOL* :) And I was thinking of posting something over in the Detroit section too...They really looked alot more physical than some people may be giving then credit for...I thought they totally dominated the Devils "A Line", Sykora and Elias looked useless against these guys!...I dunno maybe I'm crazy but if Philly meets the Redwings in the finals it may be Detroits worst nightmare...A big physical team against a team that's a bit up there in age...If my memory is correct the Wings already beat them earlier this season but the Flyers just keep getting better and could present a BIG problem for the Wings...Of course we're talking a long way off though but I can't wait!!...Man guys the playoffs are just going to totally rock this year are they not??? :) :) You just know EVERYBODY is going to be watching and waiting to see what the Wings do...Now there's still some good competition with Colorado, Chicago, and St. Louis...All very strong teams...I saw on ESPN last night that Chicago has an excellent record at home too!!...This year the east's only teams you can call strong going into the playoffs would be Philly and maybe Boston...

The Bruins have been steady all year and are having a great season, yet they aren't getting the publicity that other teams are getting and I think that could be good for Boston. Their goalie has had some injury problems in the past and if he goes down again this year they will be done.

I think one of the big advantages of coming into the finals out of the west is that unless you just got done with an Edmonton or Calgary series coming in, there not overly physical teams in the west. Where as in the east, they are SO physical that when they get to the finals, I think they're more run down than teams in the west. That isn't always the case. Hell, back in the Wings, Colorado days, those were some intense, gritty series. Of course, that doesn't always mean you're gonna lose. I just think the wings are to deep this year. And they seem to be getting tougher. Hell, the other night, I saw Brett Hull kick some ass!!

Yeah the East has some pretty intense rivalries that's for sure...You match up Toronto/Devils, Rangers/Islanders, Rangers/Devils and you've got yourself a pretty good game...And that is just a couple of matchups!...

I just pray that within the next 50 years, Toronto win a cup, I have a feeling they will win it in 2015, just like Canada won a gold, 50 years later!

Once the Rangers get the boot, I root for the canadian teams. Our neighbors to the north deserve a cup, and I would hate too see the Flyers win it.
