Leafs lose Joseph to broken hand

All I can say is OUCH! This is a real set-back for the Toronto Maple Leafs as Cujo breaks his hand last night against Carolina. Reports are saying he sustained a metacarpal fracture in his left hand when he tried to get up off the ice. "I went down and went to push myself up like I normally do. I put it back on the mesh and it gave way and snapped."

Out 6-8 weeks :( In comes backup Corey Schwab :(

This setback for the Leafs certainly puts the Bruins firmly in the drivers seat.

That could spell disaster for Toronto. Let's hope for their sake the players rally behind Scwab!!

Scwhab from what I hear willnot be the starting goalie, it will be the kid from the farm team who has been playing excellent hockey lately!

Maybe this kid can do what DOn Edwards did when he was called up in Buffalo!!

Thank god for the CBC; I'll be looking forward to seeing this kid get his career started. At least they've got more than one option. Maybe a trade isn't manditory!!

Well, the good news in all of this is that at least I picked up Schwab in my fantasy league before the guy who has CuJo had a chance to ;)

Gotta love the 'blocker' moves in fantasy :p
