Take it from me, the first team to start firing the puck from center ice will beat the Islanders quite handilly!! Osgood won a Cup and had a couple of strong years in Detroit, but he's not a BIG GAME performer. He'll make all the great saves in a game, but the weak shots always find their way in. We used to have an inside joke here in Hockeytown. He NEVER let in less than 2 goals per game. I don't care if they were on a 5 on 3 powerplay with 2 seconds left in a game, he would have to let in his two goals. Anyway, Ozzy giving 2 goals is an Osgood shutout!!

Those damn low seeds can be bastards! They get in and have nothing to lose and there's NO pressure. Look what pressure has done to St. Louis, Detroit and Dallas the last couple years. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining; YET anyway!! Gotta love the underdogs!!

The Isles are the team I want to see the Canes matched up with in the 1st round. If we win the Southeast we will be the 3rd seed and I like our chances the best against them, rather than the Bruins, Leafs, or Sens.
