Alright, let's parlay some of that success enjoyed by Canada, USA and Russia and win us a cup this year!!

Im glad the olympics are over, although it was fun to watch. The Rangers need to play as hard as possible for the rest of the season (that might happen  ) in order to be part of the post season. And then ya never know what could happen!

For your sake, let's hope Richter plays as inspired as he did during the olympics. He was the MVP of the WHOLE tourney!!

I'm definitely ready for the NHL to start back up.
I'm a little concerned over how much that the Olympics took out of the players.
I'll bet St. Lous is pissed that Tkachuk got injured. And from what I saw, Yzerman's knee was bothering him a little too. Prolly lots of other little injuries happened too.

Yeah, like Shanny's hand. I'm glad we've got some fresh young players to fill some of the voids that the olympic obis has created. Another great example of how pros and olympics shouldn't mix.

Oh please. How many goals did he have? If they felt compelled to give it to a team canada player, how about Yzerman or Lemiuex?

I watched that tourney, Mike Richter was the MVP. It doesn't matter anyway, it's just the cbc broadcasters that made THAT call.

Lemieux???? What tourney were you watching? He looked his age out there. He was off pace in every game I watched. It's time to head back to the golf course Mario.

I don't think the D played poorly. I think there was a serious lack of offensive aggression in that game. We needed big doses of LeClair to win that game. We were in our end the entire third period. That is an example of what could have happened against Russia.

For the record:

Richter played WAY better than Brodeur the ENTIRE tourney, including the 5-2 loss to Canada. Also, Richter had as many if not more shutouts than Sakic had goals.

If they had to give it Canada, Lemiuex or Yzerman were their only two choices.

Tom, did Lemiuex refuse you for an autograph as a kid or something? Who accumulated to most points for team canada? Am I mistaken or was it Lemuiex? The CAPTAIN looked pretty good for an old tractor, eh?
