Which road is better to the gold?

This poll is kind of a waist of time. I'm sure everyone will agree with the third option. But in an interview with Stevie Y (before the USA team beat Russia), he stated that he would have rather played in a nailbiter and won by a goal. He stated that games like that increase confidense and team cohesivness. Again, I stress that was before the US game. The commentators last night after the game were asked the same question. They agreed that it didn't matter. These teams will be ready to go regardless of who got there easily and who had to tough one out.

Also, I'd like to add that the score was completely different and I'll give the Russians credit for making a game of it. The US got a little lax from sitting on a three goal game. So they MAY have worked harder, but it was only for twenty minutes.

I'm still shocked at how the Russians played last night. During the third I thought they were trying to set up a rope-a-dope on the Americans, which is insane but was the only explanation I could come up with at the time... and yes I had been drinking. ;)

Now I think they just never really gelled as a team, which was also the Czechs and Sweeds problems, whereas the Finns just suck. :p

I think having the harder game will give the Americans a bit of a boost in confidance, although I'm not sure they needed it. Still I think both of these teams are very pumped up, and I love how each of them is calling the other the favorite... too funny! :)

That's not gambling buddy. You're gonna have to give about 4 goals to even have that bet considered. And I still wouldn't take it. The Russians might beat Belarus worse than the Canadians did. Belarus had one big win in them, now after getting spanked by Canada their sail has been burned and they remember they're supposed to suck. And lets not forget, I'm sure the Russians are pissed at their play last night. This is their last chance to show the world their not JUST whiners!!

I voted for the last option as well. It doesn't matter to me - both teams are here and that is all that matters right now.

They are gearing this game up to be bigger than ANY Game 7 Stanley Cup Finals game in the history of Hockey, i'm pumped!

Hell yeah, you don't have to be a hockey fan to be pumped for this game. The broadcast is gonna break some records today!!
