It seems like Every stinkin year the New York Rangers appear to have bottomless pockets and are trying to be involved in every trade out there....but Colorado seems to come out surprisingly with something. (Fluery, Bourqe, Blake).

Aside from the defensemen we've already talked about, who are the big names on the block this year?

In the last week alone Ive heard rumors about Gueren,Holik,and Teemu commin to NY. Billy Geuren would be a huge addition to this club, But what the Rangers really need are Big, hard hittin defensemen.

The two guys I would love to hear talk about coming to the Red Wings are: Bill Guerin and John LeClair. I've always liked those two players and would love to see them wearing the winged wheel.

If Geurin becomes a free agent I see him going to St. Louis. They'd love to pair him up with Dougie Weight and try to regain the magic they had in Edmonton.

That wouldn't suprise me either. Hell, St. Louis has shown deep pockets the last couple of years as well. Yet somehow, they're not getting closer. They've got another 3 years or so before they wear off the ill effects of trading away Roman Turek. What a stupid move. Until they get a quality goaltender, they're waisting OUR time. MacInnis will be retired before they win a cup. Is this his last year or is he gonna give it a couple more years?

McInnis signed a 2 year extension at the beginning of this season. So probably after next season, he'll retire.
