I agree the roster is impressive on team canada, however, when I saw the team that USA has, I think they're every bit as talented as the canadians. The only acception is probably in goaltending. Don't get me wrong I like our goaltenders and they're playing really well but the canadians are much deeper in that position.

Anyone of those teams could win this tournament. The Czechs, the Fins, The Swedes the Americans. They are all full of NHL allstars and it's all gonna come down to hot goaltending. These games are like allstar games with defense.

Did anyone see that idiot Cherry after the canadian game against the czechs?? What a moron!!

This is great fun to watch with bragging rights to come for some. Some others put WAY too much into this crap.

I would agree... depth at all position is why everyone expects so much from Canada...

Were they heavily favored?

I thought the USA was considered the team to beat, with the stage set to reclaim the glory of 1980.

I think Canada has the most talent, but as NHL fans who crave Lord Stanleys cup we know that the most talented does not necessarily hoist the grail at the end of the season.

Why do you think you have more talent than anyone else? Our roster is as good, Russia's team is as good, hell if you didn't need defense, Russia's team would be the best. I disagree, you got maple syrup in your eyes.

Ha ha! :)

Hey Mario, don't make me drag out the numbers of all of the hardware these Canadian boys have won. I believe that team Canada's players have more Stanley Cup rings then any other team in the tourney.

I could be wrong, but I really don't feeling like searching for the statistics, so just trust me, okay? :D

IMO talent won't decide who wins the tourney, because hockey is a team game, and the best team wins, not the best group of inidividuals.

I don't know about that Ken... There's quite a few guys on the Canadian team with NO cup rings.:p

Since when does hardware translate directly to talent. I just watched Belarus defeat Sweden, you can't tell me that's because Belarus is a more talented team or that they have more players with stanley cup rings or their leagues equivalents???

For those of you who missed my previous post:

What's with you two today? Are you getting nervous? :p
