Would you like to see the NHL drop the 2-line pass rule?

More breakaways because of it...

Also, what do you think about the automatic icing... no touch up required in the Olympics...?

I think I'd like the no-2-line pass rule... but I thinkI'd keep the icing touch up...

The no two line pass thing makes for better hockey, IMO. So I wouldnt mind if the NHL implimented that.

I also dont like the automatic icing rule. I like seeing players hustle to get the Icing call.

The whole cant play without your helmet thing is obviously a stupid rule.

I also saw that they blow the whistle when someone skates into the crease? Not a fan of that one either.

I absolutely LOVE the no two-line pass rule. The flow is better, faster and more break-a-ways....more exciting.

Another thing I really like is the 15 second rule about dropping the puck on the face off. I've seen it a few times where one side still wasn't ready and they dropped the puck anyways - this gives the game more flow as well.

Yeah... the no two-line-pass rule is about the only thing I like better about Olympic hockey.

I agree, it's awesome. I don't know how well it would work in the NHL. I like the fact that there aren't ten goals a game (exept the occational wings vs. Roy duel) hehe. Anyway, I'd like to see it but if a team like the wings were playing say, oh the lightning. It would get embarrassing real fast.

It might get embarrassing in a hurry or it could become the great equalizer like the 3 point shot in college basketball.

Automatic Icing of the puck!

Tag ups at the blue line!

Hello, and welcome to future 50-70 goal scorers! :D

Okay Ken, I'm with you on all but the auto icing. We're trying to eliminate whistles. And if your arguement is that would stop icing's maybe the women's hockey isn't a good example. They suck, I think our Saturday night teams could crush the chicks.
