My OPINION, I have not agreed on the NHL sending players there, too much risk to the teams, too much chaos to the schedule (thought that's not as big of an issue for me), and I just simply think that the Olympics should be left for the amatures...Now that being said, the fact is that they are there and from what I've seen so far the quality of hockey has been GREAT and very fun to watch!...I am guessing it's the bigger ice surface, but perhaps is something else such as the skill of the players, all I know is that the speed of the game and the passing is producing some of the most exciting hockey I've seen in some time...Perhaps the NHL should look a little more into this to help the lack of scoring in the League?...The US will be playing tonight which should provide alot of action tonight but Team Sweden is putting the hurt on Team Canada right now!...Matts Sundin is just flying with two goals and they have another line just outplaying Canada right now...I'm assuming this is also due to the bigger ice surface and wonder if the US and Canada teams are going to adjust quick enough???...I do think these games will be good!...

At the beginning, I would have disagreed just because I wanted to see the whole circus, now that the canadians have been crying foul and whining, I agree. They shouldn't be allowed to play and I wonder what would happen if amateurs had to get it done? Now that Russia has opened up and we got lot's of good russians in the NHL, I bet the talent would be evened out a hell of a lot more now. Of course, the sweedish elite are pros and can't play either.
