I didn't think Brent would last too long on waivers and yesterday Dallas picked him up. It was good having Brent here in Detroit. The Detroit News is reporting that Scotty Bowman is absolutely furious that Gilchrist was taken. Here is the story:

WTF? The guy played like 5 games in the past 5 years or something...

Yeah, yeah... I know he was hurt and all... But he never really did anything for the Wings.
This makes room for the younger guys anyways.
