Federov's father is contending his son Sergei has been disrespected by the coaches of the Red Wings for being put on defense.

Good god - Sergei is a team player and is actually playing awesome with Chelios on defense!

Well, there's no doubt that Scotty's coaching style can lower a player's points output.
But Sergei hasn't been a premiere scorer since the 95-96 season.

I think that most of his lack of scoring comes from laziness. He never seems to be trying out there. He just relies on his natural talent to get him along. Truly the Randy Moss of hockey.:rolleyes:

He could have been one of the best... but he just doesn't care enough...

Then again... if I was bangin Anna Kournikova, I probabluy wouldn't care much about hockey either.:D

*LOL*...You guys crack me up...But I gotta agree Federov at times can look like the Micheal Jordan of hockey with his fancy goals and ability to make a spectacular top shelf goal...
