What an effort by the Canes. they finally played a full three periods of hockey. Everyone contributed to the effort, but Bates deserves a special nod. he worked his ass off last night, 2 goals and an assist. Bates got it done at both ends of the ice.
If they keep up this type of play, they are gonna play some awesome hockey for the rest of the year.

Bates reached the 100 point mark last night. The Canes did play well but keep in mind that it was against Fla. I'll be happy when they play like that against a top team.
