Yeah, it's just a scooter. But once you let go of your hover-car fantasies, you'll appreciate what a cool concept and device this really is.

I agree. It is a very neat thing. Useless to a many, but will be very useful to certain types of people.

LOL!!!!
IT is about as useful as t!ts on a bull. Where are you gonna ride it? The sidewalk? Don't think so. The road? Yeah right. It only goes 17MPH.
Go-Peds are illegal to ride on the road or sidewalk. Why would this be any different?
Americans won't buy it. Just like they won't buy itty-bitty "city" cars like the Swatch.
Besides, $3500 will buy lots of gas.:D
I said it on cz28.c... The only folks who'll buy it are the "uber-hipsters" who just have to have the latest cool gadget.
It's all hype and no substance.
F*** IT!

Tom, go fire up a spliff and relax. ;););)
Read the Time article Ken linked to. Even if you don't like IT, there is a neat writeup about it.
I think it is kinda hokey myself, but I can see the usefulness of it somewhere for someone.
Jump ahead 10 years from now...
This Saturday on ESPN2, don't miss Competition IT racing and freestyle halfpipe insanity!
AHA! Like ice hockey, there could also be IT Hockey!
;);)

I'll give you that one, but I think that was the media saying that, not the inventor. Regardles, yeah, it is a little far fetched.
I wanna get one and put mag wheels on it. Maybe some cool stickers and grouhnd effects, too. ;)

You guys know that the 'Ricers' are going to go ape for these things.
"It's small, cheap, and economical... hey let's put a spoiler on it!"
Still I think the science behind it is very cool, and I think this product will be the prototype of something far more useful.

I am LOL at this stuff... It is teh funny!
BIN LADEN FEARED TO HAVE SEGWAY SCOOTER (http://www.satirewire.com/news/0112/bin_laden_segway.shtml)
An excerpt:
"Picture Al Qaeda terrorists able to zip around cities on their dastardly errands at 12 miles an hour for only 5 cents a day. What a tremendous costs savings and convenience that would be for them," said Army Gen. Tommy Franks.
Enjoy! :D

Ken: Thanks for those links. I'm LMFAO!
BTW "IT" is still stupid! Dean Kamen can shove "IT" up his arse! And stick it to ABC too for all of the free advertising they're giving him.
Man do I HATE overhyped junk!
