Wings lead all-star voting in 5 of 8 spots

I know it happens every year about this time that the wings lead the voting. Off recollection it's something like this:

World Goal: Hasek
World Center: Federov
World Defence: Lidstrom

N.A. R.Wing: Shanahan
N.A. Center: Yzerman


I think that's what I read anyway. I know I'll get corrected if this is wrong. The only others I remember were:

N.A. Defence: Blake

Back in the '40s when they had the Original 6 teams, the Stanley Cup winner would face the best players of the other 5 teams.

In that spirit, I think it should be the rest of the league versus the Detroit All-Stars. I mean, the Olympics are an All Star tournament to begin with, this would spice up the game.

It would never happen because they like to get a player from every team involved but I think it would be a heck of a lot more competitive.
