Fresh dirt off the espn insider page (well spent $39.95; so far).
Jose Theodore may well wind up on this team as well. Riding a six game unbeaten streak (5-0-1). With a 1.97 GAA / .932 save percentage.

They also stated that Roy decided not to play because he hadn't been named the starter outright. I guess his ego is to big to start a game on the bench. Team Canada loses nothing in my opinion. This may be the strongest position this year.

Anyway this may not be new news to some but I found it interesting.

Roys a jerkoff (or atleast acting like one). I mean he probably would have been the #1 guy for canada anyway, but now since they are thinking about it he's not playing? What could be better than representing your country in the olympics?

I guess if you're Patrick WAAAAAAAA; sitting home pouting is better. Hell he probably feels his country isn't good enough to have him. And you're right, he would have probably been the starter anyway. Good ridance!!!!!!!!!

Mario: Almost all of the stuff on the ESPN Insider can be found on other sites. Check out some of the Canadian news sites like www.canoe.ca :)

Oh yeah, Theodore should definitely be on the team. He's played fantastic this year.:)
