Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Smyth practised with his teammates Wednesday, suggesting that he will be ready to play Thursday when the St. Louis Blues visit.Smyth went down after a knee-on-knee hit from Colorado defenceman John-Michael Liles with 28 seconds left in Edmonton's 2-1 win Monday in Denver. Favouring his left leg, he had to be helped off the ice. The injury was described at the time as a charley horse.
