I hope you guys caught the game on Versus. If there was ever a nationally broadcast game to be proud of, this was it :D

Philly looked like nothing more than orange pylons out there. Maxim Afinogenov made Hatcher look as if he was waiting for the bus. :bow:

I've been watching the Sabres for 22 years and I've never been so excited about them :D

What a hammering they put on against Philly!! Simply awesome! :) Two teams already scoring 9 goals in a game this year - last week was Detroit, now Philly.

C'mon now -- they ain't THAT bad :p

And from the sound of things -- many teams in the league might adapt some similar characteristics of the Sabres new look. Read this:

Honestly, I LOVE the new look Sabs. I've been a diehard since I was old enough to hold a hockey stick and I can't wait to get my cash together to go and buy a new style Ryan Miller jersey.

I never was keen to the "Angry Goat Head" Red/White/Black/Gray jersey (although I did like the alternate Red jersey with the crossed sabres, and I even modelled my goalie gear around it).

Now that they're back to the Blue and Gold, it feels like the Sabres again. A new look for a new era. It's a bonus they are using the old style sweater as their alternate.

Seriously, around town here, you can FEEL the excitement of Sabres hockey. And those "ugly" jerseys may be so to some people, but the fact that stores can't keep them in stock should prove something :D

Frezza, which sweater do you mean? The new ones or the current retro one that they wore against Philly?
