The Senators dominated the East early in the Season only to peter out after the Olympic break due to the injury to Dominic Hasek. It doesn't look like Hasek will be back for this round at the very least. Can Emery tend the nets for this offensive juggernaut?

The Lightning on the other hand dearly miss The Bulin Wall. Can Sean Burke get this team past the Senators an help his team repeat as Champs?

Personal Prediction: Ottawa in 7

A lot of the media is saying this will be the upset series of the first round with Tampa taking it. I just can't believe that. Even with Hasek out, there is still a helluva lot of fire power on this team. Ottawa in 6.

I really wanted to pick Tampa. I'll be rooting for Tampa. I really like Vinnie and Marty.
But I can't pick 'em. Like Chris said, Ottawa has a TON of firepower. And Sean Burke is, well, Sean Burke. ;)

Ottawa in 6.

Ottawa takes game 1. If Tampa's goaltending doesn't get any better than that, it's gonna be a 4 game sweep!

Agreed. I didn't catch the game, and only caught highlights from the Wings-Oilers game, but it looks like Emery did enough to stop the Lightning from matching the Sens goal for goal.

Martin St Louis was the difference in this one, and Zedeno Chara looked more like a giant pilon than usual.

Lightning tie the series at 1 each.

Tampa barely made it last 5 games. The Sens go to the next round looking strong, with a lot of there top guns contributing.
