Well, another day, another win. Unfortunately, I missed the game (as usual). What's this I hear Brett Hull got tossed for throwing an elbow or two? Suspension to follow??

I have a new format for the allstar game; the Red Wings vs. the NHL. hehe (choke on that Bettman).

The Wings are finding new ways to win every night - last night against Columbus it was the Manny Legace show! Legace was in Hasek form!

Hull got into a scrum behind the net with I can't even remember the persons name on Columbus. The player was railing on Hull, so Hull came around with the butt end of his stick into the mouth of the player. It wasn't even that hard, and replay shows the Columbus player embelishing BIG TIME (like yanking his head back about 1-2 seconds AFTER the hit). Hull got 5 and a game for that.

I can agree on 5 min major - but the game misconduct was bull. The reff'ing in this game left something to be desired. In the first period the Wings were killing penalties basically the entire period. Yet again the refs through the book at Chelios for arguing a call - he got 2 min cross checkin, 2 min unsportsmanlike conduct and then a 10 minute misconduct.

I completely agree; however, remember anytime you get a five minute major, it's an automatic game misconduct.
