The incident in question occurred midway through the third period, with the Sabres ahead 2-1. Tucker was rocked along the boards in the Leafs end on a clean body check by the Sabres' Mike Grier.

Clearly agitated, Tucker appeared to go looking to make a hit in the neutral zone, and collided with Hecht.

Only the latter received a penalty on the play from referees Dennis LaRue and Craig Spada, as Hecht got his stick up when he saw Tucker coming and was assessed a minor for high-sticking.

So Tucker goes after Hecht, cleanly or not I have yet to see, and Hecht ended up in the penalty box for his troubles. LMAO

After the game, Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff lashed out at Tucker, saying he wanted the player suspended and fined. The league informed the Sabres on Tuesday that no disciplinary action would be taken.

DENIED! :p
