I finally got some skates so I can shuffle along the ice and fall down. What other equipment do I need?

A stick is highly suggested. Shin guards, elbow pads, a helmet, and the all important cup are minimum. Gloves are good unless you like busting your knuckles up. Hockey pants work great if you fall on your ass alot or take alot of hits.
