Hurricane bring thier 6-game unbeaten streak into Detroit tonight. Detroit slapped them around like a red-headed stepchild in raleigh. It is payback time!!!!

And a good bet it would be the way the Wings have played all year, but sometimes the strongest team fails to come out on top. the Canes have been on a great streak and streaky teams can be dangerous

Tonights game kicks off a 3 game road trip and it would be great to put some points in the bank to begin with. It will not be easy but anything is possible on any given night.

here's hoping for that possibility

The Wings are coming home now after their West coast trip picking up 5 of of the possible 6 points on the road and leading the NHL with 29 points.

Should be a good game if the Canes aren't dazzled by our Hall of Fame lineup :)

Ouch! 4-0 Wings.

How bout that Senators Washington game...10-4 in the third period!

The unbeaten streak is finally over so we must start a new one. The Canes may have been dazzled by the Wings HOF lineup for the first 2 periods before playing hard in the 3rd and coming up short 4-3. I'll be happy when this team consistently plays 60 minutes of hockey.

The Canes proivved they could play with the wings, at least for the third period it was nie to see some other players step up and score too. hopefully they can continue with that and get some needed confidence -- especially bataglia.
the cnaes couldn't pull off another come from behind, which is indicative of a team needing to play the first 2 periods like they play the third.
