Hmmmm... Very odd. It honestly sounds like a guy with a problem, like gambling or addiction to something.

Damn this stinks really bad. Not what the NHL needs right now, especially considering that there was quite a bit of controversy during the Cup Final on Games 4 and 6 in Calgary.

The league office needs a major overhaul. Gary Bettman's days are over!

Tom, this guy was head of officiating... taking money from Referees! Now it doesn't take much for a conspiracy theorist to claim the fix was on. I mean this could make Pete Rose look like a boyscout again. :eek:

But what would borrowing money from the on-ice guys have to do with a fix? If anything, they would be the ones with power over him.
BTW I hope you're right about Mr. Buttman. ;)


And NOTHING will make Pete Rose look like a Boy Scout. :p
