First of all let me say good job on not making an off-topic forum. This is a hockey forum and we really don't need one of those, we should just talk about hockey. But here's a forum that I think we should have: a historical hockey forum. Where we could talk about playoff series and games that happened in the past and players from the past and stuff like that. Maybe even a "ESPN Classic Games" forum where we talk about the games they showed on ESPN classic recently and how we felt about them at the time and how we enjoyed them. That would be fun. Thanks.

Sorry, there already is an off-topic forum called the "penalty box." I've posted the ESPN Classic games from time to time in the "last nights games" over the summer cause it's always dead that time of year. A historic forum would be a cool place to post trivia or old trades from long ago.

Here's an old trade: On May 15th, 1967 the Chicago Black Hawks traded Phil Esposito, Ken Hodge, and Fred Stanfield to the Boston Bruins, Chicago got in return Jack Norris, Pit Martin, and Gilles Marotte.

OUCH! Damn it seems like the 'Hawks have a history of gutting their team of talent.

/me looks at his avatar... "Oh wait! My team does that TOO!"

That's a good idea...but I was also thinking that maybe we should put up a WHA section...seams like that might be the only *real* hockey we get for a while
