The canes are gonna have to play a tough and very tight game tonight if they are going to have any hopes of beating the Wings. Maybe ward will step up and give his former team a little what for. Barasso is going to have to be in top form tonight to stop the Wings attack.

The place should be rocking as a sellout is expected. Special teams will be key tonight as we can't give up any PP goals and we must take advantage of our opportunities. Also if Hasek has an off game that would help.

Just as important, the canes must take advantage of their own power play opportunities. They cannot afford to miss those scoring opportunities, not only against a dominant wings team but for the rest of the season.

We need to get some goals from some guys other than the usual suspects. Gelinas, Willis, and Battaglia need to start scorng some goals.

those guys definitely need to step up and start scoring. There is no room for error tonight. passes must be crisp and sharp, skating must be on and the defense must be fierce.

All points will be important as the Canes schedule over the next 3 weeks is brutal with 10 of 11 games against probable playoff teams.

this is definitely a time the canes need to play well. It wasn't until december lst year that they started to play well and they abrely squeaked into the playoffs. they need to get some points early so hey can lock themselves into the playoffs early

Sorry guys - but we just couldn't let up.

It was nice to see Aaron Ward again though, I miss him in Detroit.

This game was a track meetand the final score could have been about 10-6.

The Wings were dominant as predicted and the canes just looked so slow. Hopefully they can learn from this whupping. It could have been so much worse
