It looks like now Dave Lewis is going to go back to Curtis Joseph in goal, but do you think Detroit would be in better shape if they had started with him in net then sticking with Manny Legace for 4 games and a split series?

No, Legacy won the starting position in the playoffs with good play in the regular season then lost it when he didnt look too good in game 4.

I agree with Manny starting the series. He earned the right after playing so well all season, plus Cujo was still rehab'n his ankle. Goaltending was never the problem but I think Dave Lewis went back to Cujo to shake things up - something Scotty Bowman would do.
Cujo has responded extremely well and it's looks like he's got the #1 job back to lose.

I agree with you.. I think Manny would have played better come game 5, but the team as a whole played better because of the shake up.
