Can Kiprosov (spelling?) keep this amazing year going? Does Vancouver have a goalie that can play in the playoffs? Will my man Jarome elevate his game like he did for the second half this season?

A month ago, I would have said Vancouver. But without Bertuzzi, they ain't s**t.
Gotta go with Calgary.

I'm gonna go with Calgary too. Kiprusoff and Iginla are the keys. I have no confidence at all in Dan Cloutier.
Calgary in 7.

Canucks 5, Flames 3 (http://www.canoe.ca/SlamResults040407/nhl_cal_van-cp.html)
The Powerplay decided this one... which you know will piss off Don Cherry. Vancouver converting on 4 of 6 while Calgary only making on 2 of 10.

If the Canucks PP keeps this up, there is no way Calgary can survive...
It's not like the Can's had it handed to them, they were penalized more than the Flames...VC was 4-6...CF was only 2-10!
I say Canucks in 6...but after the first round, they're done...

I'm not sure if having Cloutier out is good or bad for the Canucks. I picked them to win this series, but I was really surprised they managed to take game 3 after losing their starting goaltender. Kudos to Dan for making that last save with a blown out knee... and for not flopping around like Mike Ribeiro even though he really was injured.

I'm behind the Flames on this one. GO FLAMES! They need a good playoff run, it's been so long since they've had one :)

No goalie... no chance.
I voted for the Canucks.. but it looks like the Flames are going to win their first play-off series since '89!
And then probably lose the next one. :p

I just hope Calgary doesn't have to face SJ in the next round, I'd rather them in seperate matchups..mainly because I want to see either the Flames or Sharks win the west. :)

That game last night was amazing!!! The 3rd period was crazy. There was back to back non-stop action. This was by far the best hockey game i've seen all playoffs. Calgary battled back from a 4-0 deficit in the 3rd to tie it up - but they lost in triple OT to the Canucks.
If Calgary wins the series, they go on to the 2nd round to face Detroit - if Vancouver wins, then Colorado goes on to face Detroit :)

I think this will be the best Game 7 of the bunch. These are two hungry teams, and I think both are deserving of going on to the second round.

Seeing Detroit-Colorado slug it out again is pretty tempting...but I have to stick with the Flames since my team is washed up. GO FLAMES!

Calgary does it again!!!! Wow!!! After they let Vancouver tie it with like 6 seconds left to go in the game, I thought Vancouver would win it in OT. But like the previous game, the away team took the win in the OT and ultimately the series.
See you in Detroit Thursday night Calgary! Woo hoo! :) (these late night starts when they play in Calgary is gonna be killer).
