how does a division championship winner go from the semi finals to not making the playoffs? they suck so much ass. worst team in the nhl. the scouts suck ass too, they cant draft any players that can play right away.

I think you probably summed it up. I think the downhill spiral started with the holdout of Evengi Nabokov...then Sutter gets fired...then they trade Owen Nolan....

not true, sutter was a minus for the team. he wouldnt let korolyuk play. infact he sent him back to russia and now he's playing on the 1/2 lines. sutter doesnt like russians but had no choice to play nabokov when he was clearly better than former star steve shields. after nabokov became an all star he became thick headed and changed. rathje is another setback for the team. you have no idea how many goals are because of him. adam graves disappeared and was going to be an assistant coach. he disappeared cause a rookie buddy of his didnt get signed or chosen to the shark roster. nolan was a positive move since they got selanne, except now they have nobody. their star player marleau, is not a star. they claim not to be rebuilding but a blind man could tell you they are

How could Sutter be a minus for the team when he improved the teams record EVERY single year he coached? I think the League is just way too hard on coaches.

I do believe your right though on one point, it looks like the Sharks are in rebuilding mode.

i didnt look at it from that point..but i just dislike him a lot. you don't think ron wilson is better? he led washington to the finals not long ago.

Hahaha - Ron Wilson :) No, I don't like him better...heh. Heck, Barry Melrose took LA to the finals too and look where he is now. :)
