OK, the Canes dropped their first 2 games. From what I saw, we are in for a repeat of last season. There was no fire in the guys' game at all. The Canes do not have the ability to hold 1 goal games, they have got to attack the net. I know they've only played 2 games, and there are 80 more to go, but still, we don't want to be the worst team 2 seasons in a row.

Hopefully tonight they will notch their 1st win when they take on Florida.

I haven't caught any of the Canes games yet. Are they at least IN the game? Getting close, but no cigar?

At times they are in the game, and then at times they just look lik they don't care. I'm sure they do care, they're pro athletes, but a lack of blue collar play is evident.

They scrapped last night against the panthers, skating to a 2-2 tie. They have a few days to rest before going to NY to meet the Rangers, so I hope with 3 gaems under their belts, they feel a bit more seasoned.

I caught part of that game last night - what a cool deflection goal eh? Who was that off of? The defenseman? I think the Canes looked pretty good last night.

Some teams have a harder time getting out of the gate at the start of the season...hell, look at Colorado last year. They lost like their first 9 home games in a row!
