Well the HOME OPENER went off with a bang. We won and we Looked alot better then the First game of the season.

You couldnt write a better story - LINDROS scores the First goal on HOME ICE for the Season.
The sports reporters should love this (LOL).

Our "D" still looks like it needs some work, and RICTHER should have a GOOD season. Sandy was up to his old self and FIGHTING great. Theo McFleury was into this game and all over. LEETCH was on fire with his speed and got the winning Goal in O.T.

To look at this game compared to the last one - A Team that showed up to PLAY, AND THAT ALL WE CAN ASK......

The turning point: Sandy McCarthy's fight. Who says fighting aint important in hockey?:)

I dont like the way Lindros played. There were many times where he had someone lined up, and decided to not take the body. I hope hes just not gonna play like a Pu$$y because hes afraid of a concussion. Fluery was flying.

Good Game- really nice pre-game too

He P.J. when was the last time you see a fight go that long ? It did wake up the team and thats why im glad they didnt get rid of SANDY. Whats you outlook on DALE - I still think he takes BAD PENELTYS. I thought LINDROS looked good the last two games. Not his old self but getting back to it (MAYBE).

That definitly was a long fight, I just wish that more punches were actually thrown. Dale will take a lot of bad penalties this season. I like him though, hes a good player to have on your team, and he is getting better.

I think Lindros looked good when he had the puck, he was skating very good. But I mean he was flying down the ice a couple times and could have sent a few people through the boards, but he didnt. Oh well, I guess as long as he scores goals its all good.
