And it's a home and home game to boot! :)

Av's have been playing horrible at home this season, but I expect another classic matchup this week. Thank goodness both game will be national broadcasts because i'll be in Orlando Florida on Vacation this week and will still be able to catch the games :)

Buzzy - your an Av's fan??

Yes someone who remembers when they were good before they moved!!!

I love colorado.. however i hate Roy.... funny how his greatest defeats always come by the hands of the wings! :) remember back in Montreal some years ago? :)

Why is that always brought up, so he had a ****ty game in montreal, giving up 7 goals, and holy ****, he did it last year, but hey, we all have our ups and downs, I dont think Roy has many years left in NHL, but you do have to admit, He is the best goaltender in the league!

Who is better?

Roy has good numbers cause he's had good defencemen on all the teams he's played for. If he were the goalie for Atlanta or Columbus or teams like those for most of his career he'd be relatively unknown.

Sorry Ken, but you don't win three Conn Smythe trophys just because you have a good defence in front of you. That's like saying Gretzky won all those scoring titles just because he had good linemates.

I think Marty Broduer will break all of Roys records anyways.

Brod, is way to streaky..I would have to agree, you dont win all those awards for having defensemen...Patrick Roy is by far the best goaltender in the league, but I have to admit, his age is catching up with him, he just does not look as sharp as he has in the past...Actually I like the young goaltender from Carolina..He has a lot of potential, not Irbe the other one, his name slips my mind!

Gretzky was the all time best cherry picker! Hovering near the red line waiting for a pass. Wayne was fast, a great passer and shooter, but you'd hardly ever see him go coast to coast cause you need to start in your own end to do that.

As for Roy, he had lots of help, Chris Chelios, Rick Green, Larry Robinson in Montreal; Adam Foote, Ray Bourque, and Rob Blake in Colorado. Compare that supporting cast to the one Hasek had in Buffalo and you'll see who is the better man without the help.

But I would say that Roy is the best stick handling goalie there is. He's pretty good at putting the puck on the other teams stick!

Which is why Bobby Orr is the greatest player ever.:D

Oh please... Hasek might not have had the talent on the blueline, but Buffalo played a trap. The Habs and Avs played a far more open style of hockey. Not to mention that Roy faced FAR better offenses than Hasek.

Well, Roy still loves to shoot the puck to the other team, like he did so well against the Wings tonight. He almost scored on himself!

You mean, that is the best you can come up with? I am so disappointed in you, I thought yall could come up with something a bit more original then that, its bad enough that Bill Clement and Gary Thorne are full of ****, so it was a bad pass. I forgot, How many goals were scored on him? Oh yea, Another Shut out..What was that Cujo was doing, Was he jumping off a diving board trying to save that puck? Last time I checked we skated on Ice, not water. He should take lessons from Roy!
