Does anyone remember Lonnie Bohonos? He played for the Leafs in the 1999 playoffs, and ended up on Sundin's left when Freddy Modin did his disappearing act.

I know he became an instant fan favourite in T.O. for his Clarkian style of play (Grapes thought the team should have made him a regular, if that helps). Anyway, I believe he played for the Manitoba Moose for a while, but there was talk of him going to Europe, I'm curious as to what happened to this castaway Leaf.

I heard he was a real booze hound. In a playoff game down in the 'A' the team all went out to the bar after and he threw the opposing coach out through the front window. Too much baggage to offset his talent. Could be just a rumour about the fight thing but I do know for sure he was a drunk and was not well liked by Leafs mang't because of it.

Thanks for the follow up! I guess the Leafs didn't want another John Kordic in the organization.

To bad about Lonnie though, the guy had talent, maybe he'll sober up.
