There he goes again, to the highest bidder. I, for one am bitter. Brett couldn't just leave quietly. No, he had to run his mouth about "p1$$1ng off the (Blues) fans". I see that his moves have not hurt him any. I just hope that he retires with the Wings, as I am sick of hearing about him :( DE.

I was admittingly very skeptical when I heard Hull was talking to the Wings. That guy carries an aweful big ego and after all the reports of him clashing with coaches in St. Louis and Dallas, the last thing we need is a problem with his ego here - we've got enough superstars to deal with.
After hearing the press conference and interviews when the Wings introduced him, I really don't have those worries anymore. Scotty Bowman will be able to handle him.
BTW - he turned down bigger money from Montreal & New York Rangers to come to play in Detroit.

No question about Scotty Bowman. That guy is one of the best coaches of all time. I am sure that Brett Hull is no match for him.
Had Mike Keenan not been on his way out, I think you'd have seen Hull leave St. Louis much sooner. This is the only thing I like about Keenan :-)
I am VERY surprised that Hull turned down better paying options, but then again, he's going to the Redwings. 'Nuff said.

From all I've heard it wasn't Hull's choice to leave Dallas...the Stars refused to pick up his option. I guess that's what happens to an older guy who doesn't play at both ends of the ice with the same intensity. Hopefully the decision won't hurt the Stars.

St. Louis fan, I wouldn't worry about Brett Hull, I'd be worrying about what the hell is going on with management. To dump Roman Turek was a bad move. It takes an exceptional goalie to play well when facing 5-10 shots a night. With all the additions, this team managed to get worse this off-season. They will score more goals this season with the addtion of Doug Weight but they're gonna give more also. Maybe this is a good thing, those 1-0 and 2-1 games are sooooo boring. Successful doesn't always mean entertaining.

I couldn't believe they let Turek go, but I am sure glad he is doing well in Calgary...hope he keeps it up and makes St. Louis regret their decision!

To hell with all the blues. We hate them. I do hope Turk bites them in the ass.
