MTV Awards

Did anyone catch the MTV awards last night? There was some weird stuff going on. You got the trash Eminem threatening Moby, Christina's boobs falling out, Pink looking like a boy, Michael Jackson looking like ?, and GUNS AND ROSES performing!!:D :D

I caught the VERY VERY end and saw Axl Rose singing (I won't call it GNR with only him in it...

(What's with the BucketHead guy?!?!)

Anyway... I used to love GNR and I think they sounded horrible... Axl sounded like he was trying to sing like Celine Dion or something :rolleyes:

I agree about their sound. It was terrible, but tell me you didn't get a chill seeing him walk out and hear the start to Welcome to the Jungle?

I didn't watch it, but a guy here at work said he saw Izzy Stradlin playing with GNR. Is that true, or was it only Axl?

I heard them say either Izzy or Dizzy.... Dizzy was that guy who joined up around the Use your lllusion time and played keyboards...

I THOUGHT they said D izzy, but I could be wrong, I though t I say someone who looked like Izzy, so maybe they have 2 guys in it.... still not GNR though.

I could've sworn it was him. I know what you mean about "Dizzy" , but it looked a lot like him.

Yeah, what a goofball. I was reading about what happened on a news site and they said Jimmy fallon told the audience that whatever Michael was clutching was being given to evryone backstage

I think Jackson is definately on eof the biggest artists of our time... hard to deny that... but I think it's just funny how he mistook what she said.

You'd think they'd have briefed the guy before going on stage or something! :o

It was Dizzy, not Izzy that was up there with Axl. The backing musicians were good. Buckethead is a great guitarist. But Axl sounded like s**t! He couldn't even come close to hitting the notes. It sounded like a guy from a cover band doing a bad Axl impersonation.

I thought it was friggin hilarious when Eminem called Moby a little girl, and told him to shut up.

Shakira was the sexiest artist of the night, IMHO.:D

Pink? Ummm, I don't really find her attractive, but she seems like she'd be really fun to hang out with.

Jimmy Fallon was OK, but Chris Rock is still the best host ever.

Not that I'm a Moby fan... but he had GWEN lick his head... that is pretty damn cool.

All three of them looked really good. I think Pink is good lookin, but those fake tattoo's she had on last night were horrible looking.

Eminem entertains me, and Moby Bores me. I wanted to see Eminem and Moby drop the gloves.

Micheal Jackson is a weird, horrible man.

Oh Yea, and that Fallon dude was pretty good....But Chris Rock is definitly better.
