I was at this game in the FUC (First Union Center) and there was some great hockey. First there were the awesome fights, seven to be exact. Ofcourse Scott fought twice, and he held his own in those fights. He definitely seems like a tough fighter. Purinton killed his guy in a nice fight and got a game misconduct. Then there was McKenna who also got into 2 fights, he also held his own and dropped one of his guys pretty bad.

At one point in the game there were 3 fights going on at once, each was just as good as the next so you wanted to see them all. I was definitely glad my seats were 7 rows from the ice, got a great view of the punches.

I wasn't expecting to see PJ Stock out there because I heard he was sent to the Wolf Packs, but was I glad he was there. He's not a great player but he definitely is a feisty little character. He reminds me of Fluery without the skills. He also got into a fight after grabbing Lessard from behind by putting his glove in his face a pulling him back. They went at it like no other fight I saw that night. They were killing each other, but Stock took most of the hits and some pretty bad ones at that. But he never fell and didn't stop punching back eventhough he was getting hit hard. He's a tough character.

Besides the fights, it was a great game ... very very physical. The former Rangers and Flyers were pushed around a lot and I saw some great play from both teams. Rangers definitely held their own out there and played very well.

The game was tied 2-2, I'm sure you all heard about the Bush speech halting the game and ending it early. Great game.

Thanks for the game summary. I like how you went into detail about all the fights but not a single world on the goals! :D
