I think this is a great move for Atlanta. They get a great veteran to help the kids out.

I really love the Thrashers potential. It'd be sooooo interesting to see what they could do if they sign a CuJo, or even a Dafoe.

I wouldn't be surprised ot see the Thrashers challenge for a playoff spot next season.

Looks like the Southeast division is gonna get tighter. Only two teams have been contenders in the last several years, the Canes and the Caps.

The Thrashers could make that a fun division to watch.

Jagr, Bondra, Francis, O'Neill, Kovalchuk, Heatley.... that's a lot of firepower!

Hopefully the division will strenghten enough to where the teams will get some respect across the NHL

I know what you mean... that division has been kind of given the perseption that it is weak, and not very deep.

I think Jagr coming in, and the Canes going so far this year, and the two Atlanta kids really will add a lot of spark and fire to the division.

LeCavalier has also made steady improvments... it just seems like any team from Tampa in any sport takes 25 years to have a winning season! ;) :p :eek:
