Hedican gets contract offer, Langdon re-signs

Hopefully Hedican will accept the offer, the team really surged defensively after he joined the team, along with Hill.

Bret and Kristi will be raising their family in Raleigh. Hedican signs six year deal. The Canes have had a great off season re-signing O'neil, Francis, and Hedican. The only thing remaining is what to do with Ward and Sami?

It would be nice if we could get Ward to re-sign as well, he put a lot of oomph in the defense. Sami too, he's a fan favorite, and he had a solid season, although he couldn't score in the playoffs.

Ward and Sami are restricted free agents. The Canes made qualifying offers to both of them so they will be part of the team next season. The question is their long term tenure with the team. I expect both to be shopped around.
