Gary Roberts will have surgery on his shoulders to repair damage suffered during the playoffs and is expected to be lost to the club for at least the first eight weeks of the season, and probably longer.
This will suck... but perhaps this may also allow the Leafs to let a rookie get some prime time with big club.
I hope Gary comes back soon though, he's the heart of the team.
