Ticket rise raises Cujo hopes (http://www.canoe.ca/Slam020619/nhl_tor2-sun.html)
A roughly 10% increase across the board in the price of regular-season tickets for 2002-03 will earn the club an extra $8 million to $10 million. Joseph and agent Don Meehan are looking at a multi-year proposal from the Leafs that will pay about $9 million US annually.
You better sign his ass to a contract Paddy!
The beauty of it is, if they re-sign Cujo, that this ticket increase will cover his future salary, while his current salary ($6M) could be used to lure a big name free-agent.

It's a shame that this is the only way they felt they could have a chance to retain CuJo...
What do Leafs tickets range from anyway?

How much harder will it be for Leafs fans to get tickets if the prices are raised by 10%. The Leafs fans I met in raleigh said it is next to impossible to get tickets for a game in Toronto.

I can imagine Detroit will be raising their ticket prices again. It's damn near impossible to get tickets for a Detroit game as well - you basically have to know somebody who has season tickets and is willing to sell them to ya to get a ticket to a game.
I believe the ticket pricing that I paid for last year was $38 per ticket - this was for upper bowl, section 212 C Row 16.

Ticket prices for Hurricanes games will be going up as well. The team already announced that the cost of season tickets will be going up, and I know they will raise single game tickets too. But fortunately our prices aren't so bad. the cost of upper level tickets are only $18 for the end where the Canes shoot at twice. lower level tickets range from $45 to $100

Pittsburgh's prices have (I believe) been announced to be staying the same this year...
At least the season ticket prices... I think individual tickets may rise a tad...

I remember when the Reds at MLG were $35! :(
Ya it's next to impossible to get tickets anyway. I mean the team could probably raise the prices 100% and still sell out. In Toronto ticket prices are equated to offerings at a church service.
