Since Scotty coached his last game, who do you think will be the Head Coach of the Red Wings next season?

Kevin Constantine? ;)

I think either Dave Lewis or the other assistant (name escapes me) will get the nod. If these guy haven't been taking notes while underlings of the great coach in hockey history, then they should be shot!

The Detroit news compiled a list of candidates this morning - i'm not sure if I'm too fond of a few of these, but this is what they had.

Dave Lewis (current assistant in Detroit)
Barry Smith (current assistant in Detroit)
Ron Wilson (former Washington & Anaheim coach)
Larry Robinson
Ted Nolan (only if Hasek retires)
Herb Brooks
Slava Fetisov

When you've had the best, the rest don't look so hot. I agree with Ken, Barry or Dave should get first shot at it.

I think they should give someone from Bowman's staff a shot if they feel they are worthy...

Just my opinion...
