As well as Nick played, and he definately deserved to win.... how can you not give it to Hasek with that huge streak of shut out hockey in the Finals?

I know Grapes (Don Cherry) thought that Stevie should have won it, but I really think the right guy got it.

Lidstrom burns up the minutes, makes few mistakes, and has a great eye on offense.

I think they picked the right guy! Nick has been there so long, you hardly notice he's out there, Hasek could not have got the shutouts without great defence and Lidstrom plays a ton of minutes, all without penalties, rare for a D man. He's one of the greatest at his position, along with Chelios.
